Sharon is no stranger to the kitchen. She has been creating magic in the kitchen for as long as she can remember. Like most curious, young girls, her first foray into baking was in her mom's kitchen where she would make a huge mess because that's what kids do.

Throughout school and her early adult life, she had continued to display a keen interest in arts and baking. She is a graduate of Canada's premier art and design school, OCAD, and has also taken some cake decorating courses to hone her natural skills. 

Through the power of social media and much encouragement of her family and friends, she founded Bloom Cake Co. in early 2011 while pregnant with her third beautiful child.

 Her business has been driven completely by word of mouth and word of 'mouse'. In such a short period of time, she has amassed an impressive International following and has been proudly featured on Stlye Me Pretty, WeddingBells Magazine, Kid Robot, Hostess with the Mostess, Madeline's Weddings & Events, and more...

While not slaving away in the studio, Sharon spends her time with her 3 beautiful children and contributing to the community. She is involved with many charitable organizations and also a partner with Make A Wish Foundation of Canada to sponsor cakes for their “Wish Days”.
